# Contributing to the WCL Node Registry

## Adding your node

1. Fork this repository
2. Open `nodes.txt`
3. Add your node URL on a new line (must serve `WCL-1.1.md` content)
4. Submit a pull request

**Node requirements:**
- URL must be publicly accessible
- Must serve the WCL-1.1 license text (content-identical to `WCL-1.1.md` in this repo)
- Must be a stable URL (no personal hosting, no URL-shorteners)
- HTTPS required

## Suggesting changes to the license text

WCL-1.1 is a released version. Changes to the license text result in a new version number.  
To propose WCL-1.2 or later: open an issue describing the change and rationale.  
The steward (Odysseus Melchizedek Shiloh) reviews and issues new versions.
